The student must choose a site from the provided selections in order to gain fundamental knowledge that will help them complete their final design. In the context of the site and programmatic needs for the Micro House Project, the project demands students to independently investigate drawing convention, technical aspects, and requirements in technical drawings.

First Floor Plan

As advised by my lecturer, I was told to improvise on the flow and space of the location of the bathroom as well as the dividing walls placed in front of the main entrance

Finalized Floor Plan

I relocated the bathroom for it to be connected to the bedroom for easier access and space for the dining area and kitchen area

Manual Drawing Progress

I started by using a pencil first and then continued on by inking the floor plan with proper and complete title blocks.

Reflection

I definitely enjoyed doing this assignment because we were given free creativity to design our micro house. Although it was quite a challenge having to have the same measurements and items for our house with our group mates, it made the work easier because we can communicate and help each other with our difficulties when doing the assignment.
